Exploring different places and meeting people is a passion of mine, and it serves as a great source of inspiration for my research. Throughout the years, I have had the opportunity to work and live in both Taiwan and the U.S., and conduct field research in India, Cambodia, and Thailand. I have also traveled extensively across the globe, immersing myself in a range of environments -- from the prosperous to the impoverished, from the orderly to the chaotic, and from the peaceful to the tumultuous. Through my experiences in the field, I am able to develop a deeper understanding of economics and become a more effective researcher.

Traveling around the world

Look at where I have been! I have visited 39 countries.
In 2019, I accomplished my goal of traveling to all 50 states in the US before returning to Taiwan.
